Bel Merino New Zealand is Hamilton’s Premier Souvenir Shop, located in the heart of the city. Locally owned for over 30 years, it is Hamilton’s longest running souvenir shop.

For the past 20 years the 'Soutar' family have owned and managed the Victoria street shop.

Bel Merino NZ gives back to the community by sponsoring a local men’s soccer team (Melville) and donates to various charities including the Cancer Society & SPCA, but our main focus is collecting money & donating to the "Kakapo Recovery" programme.  In  September last  year we were able to donate $900.00 to the kakapo recovery programme, and we are starting our collecting again, every cent counts, we collected over $150.00 in 10 cent pieces thanks to our customers dropping change in our collection tube, a big thank you to thoose who contributed!

By collecting money & educating the public we hope to help in the battle to save this wonderful endangered parrot.

Bel Merino NZ specialises in New Zealand gifts – everything from bone carvings, greenstone jewellery, kiwiana, to sheepskin rugs & ugg boots, Kauri clocks and everything in between. We have something for every budget.

We like to support New Zealand made products & promote New Zealand’s love of nature with our unique flora and fauna symbolised on many of our goods.  Out now 2015 Calendars......

If travelling overseas we are your one stop shop! We can offer "tax free" shopping if you are flying out of Auckland Airport (conditions apply)  or we can offer "tax free" overseas postage anywhere in the world.
